Mile High Men’s Golf Club Meeting Minutes

Date:  September 11, 2026

Present: Tim B., Terry S., Bill L., Brian P., Tracy B., Dayton T.,  Bill W., Brian B.

Call To Order:  Meeting was called to order at 9:30 a.m. by President Brown

Previous meeting minutes were approved on line and verified at this meeting.

Membership Report:   Bill L reported that the Current Membership stands at 152.

Treasurer’s Report:   Dayton and Bill W provided their current budget report to the board and the information was approved.

Tournament Report:  Tracy reported that tournaments were going well. Tracy proposed that tournaments should be moved to 7am to avoid having any public tee times in front of the MHMGC. Concerns about members being able to eat breakfast before the tournament and whether the restaurant could be opened earlier were cited. The proposal was tabled for now as we are going into the winter months.

Handicap Committee:  Terry reported that there are no new updates. The next handicap review will be conducted on 10/1/26.

Rules Committee:   Brian said that the course is still in good enough shape that we will continue to play the ball “as it lies” for the foreseeable future.

Old Business:  Tim B. said that Jimmy M is no longer part of MHMGC but is being allowed to play in the skins game as a 0 handicap.

New Business:  Tim proposed that a change of leadership be made due to his leadership being “stale.” All members of the board disagreed and unanimously told Tim that he is stuck with the job forever.

Next Meeting:  October 2, 2026 at the Manzanita Grill at 9:30 a.m.
