MHMGC Board Meetings:

Board meetings are generally held once a month. Any and all members are always welcome to attend
any board meeting. If you are interested in attending a BOD Meeting please consult with any Board member and they can tell you the time and date of the next meeting. Also there is usually an open spot on the board and we are always looking for fresh input from folks.  We always need someone to help or takeover tournament management. Often there is a lot of chatter in the little cliques around the course. The Board meetings are the place to discuss grievances and get questions answered.  Until members step up and try to be a part of solutions things will run the way they always have with a select few making decisions (good or bad) and moving on.  At almost every board meeting we talk about new blood and new ideas for MHMGC.

Tie breakers:

We follow USGA guidelines.  Back 9, then last 6, then last 3 holes, then the last hole #18.

Payouts:

Most tournaments are divided into 6 man flights. All flights pay 1st gross and 1st net.

Special events:

Events like the Masters have special requirements and may be unusual pairings and payouts. The Masters has normal first day pairings but the pairings the second day are based on the results of the first day scoring. As usual the intent will be to pay approximately one third of the field. Please ask for clarification if you confused. You can do that by putting your questions in the comments field of the tournament signup sheet or asking for clarification when you check in the morning of the tournament.
