Handicap Adjustments
The USGA has provided a new set of guidelines, effective this year, to adjust the handicap of individuals under certain circumstances. This is all part of revised handicap review guidelines and are applied across all USGA member clubs. The process happens once a month. The information provided below is provided to help you understand what goes on behind the scene by the USGA and your local handicap committee in determining your handicap.

If you ever get affected by this process your handicap will be labeled as an “M” handicap.
